Unilateral breast enlargement in association with congestive heart failure

N J Med. 1995 Jun;92(6):391-2.

Abstract

The authors describe unilateral breast enlargement and congestive heart failure. Two patients responded to diuretic therapy with complete resolution of breast enlargement. An impairment in venous drainage through the azygous, axillary, and thoracic veins may explain this phenomenon.
