Rapid nontomographic approach to MR myelography without contrast agents

J Comput Assist Tomogr. 1986 May-Jun;10(3):375-8.

Abstract

A modification of the rapid acquisition with relaxation enhancement imaging method allows the acquisition of a highly T2-weighted image in 2.5 s. By omitting the slice selection gradient, this technique yields a superimposed image of the CSF in the spinal canal. This image (magnetic resonance myelogram) contains much of the same information as an X-ray myelogram.
