Translocation 3;21 in Philadelphia chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia at diagnosis

Cancer Genet Cytogenet. 1989 Jun;39(2):143-6. doi: 10.1016/0165-4608(89)90178-7.

Abstract

We describe a further case of Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia with a t(3;21)(q26.2;q22) present in the chronic phase. Blastic transformation occurred 8 months after presentation. The presence of the t(3;21) may indicate a poor prognosis.
