Abstract

A 22-year-old women visited the Emergency Department with purpura of the right lower extremity subsequent to four days of hiking 40 kilometres daily. The diagnosis 'exercise-induced vasculitis' was made. This is a harmless and self-limiting disease that can occur due to exercising in warm weather.
