Abstract
Purpose:
To report a case of keratitis and corneal melt after conductive keratoplasty (CK) enhancement.
Method:
Case report.
Results:
A 52-year-old woman with emmetropic presbyopia had undergone previous CK for monovision and underwent CK enhancement 4 years later. Postoperatively, she was managed with ketorolac tromethamine 0.4% and developed keratitis and corneal melt.
Conclusions:
This is the first reported case of keratitis and corneal melt associated with nonsteroidal antiinflammatory topical medications in a post-CK patient.
