Home surveillance of leaking wounds after hip and knee arthroplasty: a prospective audit

Abstract

Leaking postoperative wound is a frequent finding after hip and knee arthroplasty. A prospective audit was undertaken to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of surveillance of leaking wounds at patients' homes by trained orthopaedic nurses.
