[Endoscopic argon-plasma coagulation application in palliative treatment of recurrent stomach cancer at the esophageal anastomosis]

Abstract

Our method of endoscopic argon-plasma coagulation was employed in palliative treatment of recurrent stomach cancer of gastroenterostomy to deal with tumor obstruction of anastomosis. The ability to swallow was restored in all patients. Since no complications were reported, the procedure may be recommended for outpatient clinic applications.
