Abstract

Obstructive sleep apneas result from pharyngeal collapse during sleep. Upper airways may be investigated using either static or dynamic techniques during wakefulness or sleep. In OSAS patients, imaging has different goals: to describe the anatomy of the pharynx and the sequence of the pharyngeal collapse, to try to select patients that will benefit from surgery, and to analyze the results of different treatments.
